Tour summary

  4 days (3 nights) enjoying the culinary traditions of Umbria, visiting wineries and farms that produce the flavors of yesteryear

The program includes: 3 nights EXECUTIVE double room, 3 breakfast buffets, cooking lessons with lunch, 2 dinners, day excursion with an English Speaking Guide to Montefalco with lunch.

The program does not include beverages, extras, room service and gratuities. Minimum number of participants: 2

Departures: Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

Arrive at the Hotel in Spoleto. After settling in, sip a welcome drink presentation about your cooking lesson. Then relax and enjoy the welcome dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. Stroll around the charming Renaissance town of Spoleto, which is lovely in the evening.

Day 2 ^nd 

After a traditional local breakfast, your introduction to classic Umbrian cooking gets underway at 11am with the presentation and preparation of some classic appetizers. Lunch: Enjoy tasting the dishes you've prepared. 3.30 pm The culinary lesson’s emphasis is on……what else? PASTA!!! With the preparation of such dishes STRANGOZZI (a type of homemade Pasta) with Truffles, GNOCCHI (potato dumplings) with a tomato sauce, and……. other surprises. Delizioso! 5:30pm Free evening to wander around Spoleto, followed by dinner at the San Lorenzo restaurant.

Day 3 ^rd 

After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to wine tasting and sampling some of Umbria’s best products. An English-speaking guide will escort you as you discover old olive oil farms. During a visit to a beautiful winery in the charming town of Montefalco, you may sample their red wine, followed by lunch and a return to Spoleto at 3:30pm. Free time in the afternoon and evening. Perhaps dinner and a stroll in nearby Assisi…..?

Day 4 ^th  

Breakfast and departure at your leisure.
